Gulbis drops out of Wimbledon

On Wednesday, Latvia's top ranked tennis player Ernets Gulbis lost a thrilling five-set match to Poland's Jerzy Janowicz 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-7, 7-9 in the second-round of this year's Wimbledon ''Grand Slam'' tennis tournament, writes LETA.
At the moment, Gulbis is ranked 87th in the ATP tennis rankings, whilst Janowicz is ranked 136th.
Gulbis has earned 45 ATP ranking points for qualifying for the tournament's second round.
As reported, Gulbis defeated the sixth-seed Tomas Berdych (Czech Republic) 7-6 (7:4), 7-6 (7:5), 7-6 (7:4) in the first-round of Wimbledon.
