Dukurs and Radevica named Latvia's ''Athletes of the Year 2011''

During the annual ''Latvian Sports Awards'' last night, skeleton slider Martins Dukurs and long-jumper Ineta Radevica were named Latvia's ''Athletes of the Year'' for the second year in a row, writes LETA.
Last season, M.Dukurs won the Skeleton World Cup, the Skeleton World Championships and the European Skeleton Championships, and currently is the overall leader in this season's Skeleton World Cup. On the other hand, Radevica won the bronze in the women's long-jump at this year's World Championships.
