Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas hopes to meet with Vladimir Putin, who just left the office of Russian president and became Prime Minister.

Nemira Pumprickaite, press representative of prime minister, said to lrt.lt that so far it is not agreed on the meeting, at present the possibilities are under discussion. The meeting of Putin and Kirkilas might take place at the beginning of June during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Lithuanian representatives already participated in this yearly forum. St. Petersburg Forum is called the greatest Russian international economic event.
