The Rational Investment Fund of the Lithuanian commercial bank Ukio Bankas has become the most profitable fund among equity funds managed by investment companies in Lithuania, as the bank announced.

This information was obtained by LETA after an analysis of public data of Lithuanian investment management companies.

According to that data, the profitability of Ukio Bankas Rational Investment Fund reached 7.5% over the last few years. Return of investments of the second most profitable equity fund managed in Lithuania was 2.6%.

According to the bank, its Rational Investment Fund operates globally, so appropriately allocated investment all over the world gave good result. The fund invests globally and thus achieves maximum spread of risk.

Presently the bank’s assets management subsidiary Ukio Banko Investiciju Valdymas manages Ukio Bankas Bond Fund and Ukio Bankas Rational Investment Fund. The minimum investment into these funds is LTL 100.
