The festive Independence Day reception by the Estonian President takes place in Tallinn again after several years, in the Estonia Theatre, LETA/Eesti Päevaleht Online reports.

Last year the president received guests at his annual reception in Tartu, the year before that in Jõhvi and the year before that the Independence Day parade took place in Pärnu while the reception took place in the Estonia Theatre in Tallinn.

The first Independence Day reception of the term of office of President Toomas Hendrik Ilves took place in the Vanemuine Concert Hall in Tartu.
