Estonian ministers issued a joint statement on the occasion of the Citizens’ Week, urging all authorities to organise relevant festive meetings, exhibitions, meetings or other events, writes the National Broadcasting/LETA.

The week will culminate on Thursday with a Citizens’ Day. On that day, the Citizen of the Year will be announced.

The ministers noted that it is important that everyone residing in Estonia would cherish their homeland and would want to do something for its benefit as the State and its citizens belong together.
