The poll on reliability of institutions organised by the Ministry of Defence of Estonia indicated that among three presidents Estonia has had since regaining its independence, people have had most confidence in Arnold Rüütel who was trusted by an average of 79% during his term of Office, informs Postimees/LETA.

The current Presiden of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, has gained the confidence of 73% of respondents and during his last year in office, President Lennart Meri was trusted by 70% of individuals.
