TTT Riga open new FIBA Euroleague season with loss to Girona

BC, Riga, 02.12.2020.

Latvian basketball club TTT Riga opened the new FIBA Women's Euroleague season on Tuesday with a 79:81 loss to Spanish club Girona Spar Citylift, informs LETA.

Binta Drammeh led the scoring for the Latvian club with 14 points, followed by Kitija Laksa with 13 points.

Sonja Vasic was the top scorer for Girona with 19 points.

TTT Riga will play its next ''bubble'' match on Thursday against Italian club Schio Familia, and and Friday against Russian basketball club Yekaterinburg UGMK.

TTT Riga finished in last place in its group last season and failed to qualify for the Euroleague playoffs.
