he Hurts concert at Arena Riga, which was originally scheduled for March 25th, has been postponed to October 8th of next year, Liva Tonina from the L Tips concert agency told LETA.

She said that due to the unpredictable development and restrictions connected with the Covid-19 pandemic, there are concerns about the ability to arrange a concert of this scale in the spring, so the band decided to postpone their entire tour to next fall.

All the tickets purchased so far remain valid and the ticket sales continue at all Bilesu Serviss outlets and on www.bilesuserviss.lv.

Hurts was founded in Manchester in 2009 by vocalist Theo Hutchcraft and multi-instrumentalist Adam Anderson. Hurts gained recognition immediately with the debut album Happiness released in 2010. Six singles from just one disc topped the various European charts. The album gained Gold status in Great Britain and Austria, and Platinum - in Germany, reaching at least the top 10 in 12 European hit shows. With the next albums, Exile (2013), Surrender (2015) and Desire (2017), the duet continues to strengthen its position in the global pop music scene, Tonina added.
