Sevastova will not compete anymore this season after suffering injury

Latvian tennis player Anastasija Sevastova will not compete anymore this season due to injury, Latvian Television reported last night.

Sevastova suffered an injury to her back thigh muscle during her first practice on the clay surface.

Because of this, Sevastova withdrew from the French Open, and will also be forced to miss the remainder of the season.

At the moment Sevastova is ranked 48th in the world.
