Gulbis loses to Cecchinato in first qualification round of French Open

Latvia's Ernests Gulbis lost to Marco Cecchinato (Italy) 3-6, 5-7 in the first qualification round of the French Open tennis tournament on Tuesday, informs LETA.

At the moment, Gulbis is ranked 163rd in the ATP rankings, while Cecchinato is ranked 110th.

A loss in the first qualification round means that Gulbis has earned zero ranking points at the French Open this year.
