Ventspils knocked out of UEFA Europe League qualification

In a UEFA Champions League second-round qualifier on Thursday, Latvian football club Ventspils lost to Norwegian football club Trondheim Rosenborg 1:5, writes LETA.

The Latvian club took the early lead with a goal from Jevgenijs Kozlovs, but the Norwegians scored five unanswered goals to advance to the third qualification round.

As reported, Ventspils defeated Moldovan football club Tiraspol Dinamo-Auto in the first qualification round.
