Print versionIn an NHL qualification tournament match on Wednesday, Latvian forward Teodors Blugers scored a goal, but his Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the Montreal Canadiens 4-3, writes LETA.
With the loss, the Canadiens have taken a 2-1 lead in the best of five series to qualify for the NHL playoffs.
Blugers scored the goal in the sixth minute of the second period to give his team a 3-1 lead.
The Latvian ended the game with a +1 efficiency rating.
The fourth game of the series will be played on Friday.
