EuroLeague and EuroCup b-ball seasons canceled

BC, Riga, 25.05.2020.

Euroleague Commercial Assets (CEA) shareholders executive board proposed on Monday canceling the remaining EuroLeague and EuroCup matches in basketball, and the licensed clubs agreed with the proposal, informs LETA.

The EuroLeague and EuroCup seasons have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

The majority of players also opposed resuming the season.

The CEA shareholders executive board also decided that no club would be recognized as the EuroLeague and EuroCup champion in the 2019-2020 season.
