Kazakevics replaces Stojanovic as Latvian national football team's head coach

Print versionThe Latvian Football Federation's (LFF) board decided during a congress on Monday to dismiss the Latvian national football team's head coach Slavisa Stojanovic and appoint Dainis Kazakevics the team's new head coach.
At the moment, the 38-year-old Kazakevics is the head coach of the Latvian U-21 team.
The LFF board is planning to sign a three-year agreement with Kazakevics and find a new head coach for the national U-21 team.
The LFF board thanked Stojanovic for his contribution to the development of the national team.
Stojanovic was appointed the Latvian national football team's coach in March 2019.
The Latvian national football team is currently in 137th place in FIFA rankings.
