Stalbergs announces Latvian roster for European Basketball Championship qualifiers

 Latvian national basketball team's general manager Arturs Stalbergs on Thursday revealed 24 players included in the expanded list of candidates to play in the 2021 European Basketball Championship qualifiers, the Latvian Basketball Union said LETA. 


Stalbergs on Thursday named 24 players who would be registered for the European Championship Qualifying Tournament matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina (February 21) and Bulgaria (February 24).


14-15 players will be invited to a short training camp that will start on February 17.


There are four newcomers: Arturs Zagars, Maris Gulbis, Arturs Kurucs, and Kristaps Dargais.
