Other events in Baltic States

Lithuania is launching events on Friday to mark the European Heritage Days, writes LETA/BNS. 

All in all, over 300 events are planned, held to get people acquainted with Lithuania's cultural heritage. They will include excursions, walks and orientation games. People are especially invited to visit cultural heritage that is usually closed to the public, and also rediscover the town and cities of Lithuania, the history of its regions.

Town castles, churches, stately homes, museum and other cultural heritage objects will be open in Lithuania's 54 municipalities.

The Department of Cultural Heritage says such events will encourage people to get acquainted with heritage not only during excursions and lectures but also while actively spending one's time with family and friends.
