Korean parlt speaker to visit to Lithuania

Moon Hee-sang, speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, will arrive to Lithuania on Monday for an official visit, informed LETA/BNS.
The guest is scheduled to meet with Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Viktoras Pranckietis, President Dalia Grybauskaite and Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis on Monday.
"We consider Korea as another potential partner in Asia, and a connection with this country would open up greater opportunities for our country," Karolina Froloviene, spokeswoman for the Lithuanian parliament speaker, told.
Hee-sang was elected speaker of Korea's National Assembly in July.
The Lithuanian Seimas has the Group for Interparliamentary Relations with the Republic of Korea since 2002. Korea's National Assembly had such a group in 2012-2016.
