Lithuanian composer Senderovas passes away at 73

Lithuanian composer Anatolijus Senderovas (Anatoli Shenderov) has died at 73 after a long illness, informed LETA/BNS.
"The maestro passed away, but at the request of the family, we are not providing any further information for now," Monika Antanaityte, spokeswoman for the Jewish Community of Lithuania, told .
Born in Russia in 1945, Senderovas graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatory in 1967.
The composer of Jewish origin was awarded the National Culture and Arts Prize in 1997.
His works have been performed in many international music festivals and famous concert halls worldwide.
