Rastorgujevs finishes 20th in IBU World Cup mass start race in Ruhpolding

Print versionLatvia’s leading biathlete Andrejs Rastorgujevs finished
20th in the 15 kilometers mass start competition of the IBU World Cup stage in
Ruhpolding, Germany, on Sunday.
Rastorgujevs’ hopes for a higher place were gone after he
missed three targets in the standing position.
The race was won by this year’s World Cup overall leader
Johannes Thingnes Boe of Norway, who scooped his ninth win of this season.
Austria’s Julian Eberhard finished second 0.6 seconds behind the Norwegian and
France’s Quentin Fillon Maillet took third place.
