Latvian Basketball League's MVP last season, Aigars Skele will play for the French LNB Pro A league club Antibes Olympique next season, reports LETA/BNS. 

As reported, Skele's agent Arturs Kalnitis said on Tuesday that Skele would play in the French top-tier basketball league LNB Pro A next season but did not reveal the club he would be joining.

Skele, 25, has played for the basketball club Ventspils for two seasons. Last season he helped Ventspils defeat VEF Riga in LBL finals, earning the most valuable player's title.

Last season, Skele averaged 12.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the national basketball championship and 12.2 points and 5.5 assists in FIBA Basketball Champions League.

Before joining Ventspils, Skele had also played for Latvian basketball clubs Barons Kvartals, Jurmala/Fenikss, VEF Riga and Valmiera/ORDO. He has also played in 31 matches with Latvian national basketball team.
