Brooklyn Nets and Barcelona Lassa agree on buyout for Kurucs

Print versionThe NBA's Brooklyn Nets has agreed to a buyout of Latvian forward Rodions Kurucs from his previous club - Barcelona Lass, according to the Sportando sports portal.
This means that Kurucs, who was the 40th pick in this year's NBA Draft, will be able to move on with his NBA career.
Barcelona will be paid USD 750,000 to settle his contract issues.
Kurucs is now likely to join of with the Nets' Summer League squad.
As reported, Kurucs has become the fifth Latvian selected in the NBA Draft after Andris Biedrins in 2004, Davis Bertans in 2011, Janis Timma in 2013, Kristaps Porzingis in 2014 and Anzejs Pasecniks in 2017.
