The Baltic urban entertainment and technology festival HyperTown Riga is to take place in the Latvian capital this weekend, the event’s organizer Janis Dzerve told LETA.

The festival will take place on May 26 and 27 at the Kipsala exhibition hall in Riga.

In a more than 10,000 square meters large area, visitors of HyperTown Riga will be able to see and test various drones, robots, LaserTag games, simulators, retro computes and consoles in 45 activity areas.

For the first time at the Baltic tech festival, Latvian entertainment company Mysteria City will present its hyperreality technology which has been developed to allow users experience virtual reality in the multiplayer mode.

HyperTown Riga is a two-day urban entertainment and eSports festival, gathering Baltic top achievers from various fields such as eSports, Cosplay, Graffiti, Technology, Game Dev, Streaming and many other popular areas.

HyperTown Riga is organized by sSports organization Goexanimo in partnership with Lattelecom telecommunications company, Samsung electronics giant, MSI and HP Omen.
