The New Riga Theater will be visiting Israel and Italy this summer with two productions by its famous director Alvis Hermanis - Gara Dzive (Long Life) and Brodsky/Baryshnikov, the theater announced.

Long Life will be shown in Israel from May 31 to June 2 during Jaffa Fest 2018 held as part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Israel. Long Life premiered in Latvia in December 2003 and was played to the Latvian audience more than 400 times. It has also been shown in 50 cities in more than 30 foreign countries but will be brought to Israel for the first time.

The New Riga Theater will be touring Italy with Brodsky/Baryshnikov show that premiered in October 2015. The performances are scheduled on June 26-28 during Napoli Teatro Festival in Naples, on July 3-5 during Festival of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence and on July 13-15 at Teatro La Fenice di Venezia in Venice.
