Latvian motocross racer Pauls Jonass (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) on Sunday placed second at the MXGP of Germany, MX2 class., informs LETA.

Jonass finished first in Race 1, while in Race 2 he finished in fourth place.

Jonass' teammate Jorge Prado (Spain) was first overall yesterday, Jonass was second and Calvin Vlaanderen (South Africa) third.

In the overall MX2 standings, Jonass remains in first place with 351 points to his name, Prado is second with 329 points, and Thomas Kjer Olsen (Denmark) is in third place with 288 points.

In the MXGP class, Jeffrey Herlings (Netherlands) finished in first overall place on Sunday, Tim Gajser (Slovenia) was second and Gautier Paulin (France) third.
