Print versionLatvia's second-best ranked lady tennis player Anastasija Sevastova convincingly defeated Poland's Magdalena Frech 6-1, 6-2 in the first Latvia vs. Poland match at Federation Cup Europe Group I in Tallinn today.
Therefore the Latvian team has taken a 1-0 lead over Poland.
At the moment, Sevastova is ranked 15th in the WTA rankings, while Frech is ranked 144th in the world.
