Bertans scores 9 points; Spurs rout Suns

Print versionIn NBA action on Wednesday, Latvian forward Davis Bertans scored nine points to help his San Antonio Spurs rout the Phoenix Suns 129:81 (28:9, 41:22, 28:19, 32:31)., informs LETA.
The Spurs were in the lead from the first minute of the match, winning by as many as 38 points in the first half and even 53 points in the fourth quarter.
Bertans also pulled down six rebounds, made two assists, and stole one ball.
LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 23 points and 13 rebounds and Patty Mills had 18 points. Alex Len was the highest scorer for the Suns with 14 points.
The Spurs remain in third place in the NBA's Western Conference standings with 35 wins and 21 losses, while the Suns are in 13th place in the conference with 18 wins and 38 losses.
