Kino Bize cinema to join live cinematic event of Rotterdam festival

Rotterdam, will take place at the Kino Bize cinema in Riga from January 26 to
28, Kino Bize representative Maris Prombergs told LETA.
IFFR Live is a program of six films that will be shown at the 47th edition
of the International Film Festival Rotterdam with simultaneous premieres in
cinemas throughout Europe.
“The Rotterdam film festival is one of the most significant annual film
industry events in the world, which started the IFFR Live program 2015 as it
sought to promote the distribution of the festival’s films in various ways,”
Prombergs said.
After watching the films, cinemagoers in Riga will be able to participate
in the festival’s Q&A session in social networks, as well as enjoy musical
performance and other events of the festival online.
The IFFR program includes six films shot in 2017. They will be screened in
the original language with English subtitles.
