Ventspils lose to PAOK in Champions League match

Print versionLatvian basketball club Ventspils was defeated by Greek basketball club Thessaloniki PAOK 76:83 in FIBA Champions League match on Tuesday, reports LETA.
Ventspils had a disastrous final minutes of the game, allowing PAOK to fight back to take the lead and pull out the win.
Maris Gulbis led the way for Ventspils with 17 points.
In the Champions League's Group B standings, Ventspils is currently in fourth place with three wins and four losses, while PAOK is in seventh place with two wins and five losses.
