Bertans, Timma, Strelnieks forced out of upcoming qualifiers due to ULEB and FIBA quarrel

announced he will not be able to suit up for Latvia due to the quarrel between
ULEB and FIBA, Janis Timma and Janis Strelnieks have also ruled out
their participation, writes LETA.
All three play for Euroleague teams, which will not be taking a break for
national team qualifiers later this month.
All three had hoped to suit for Latvia for its opening two 2019 FIBA World
Cup qualifiers later this month against Turkey and Sweden.
The national team will gather for a small training camp ahead of the
qualifiers next week.
Latvia will play Turkey on November 24 and Sweden on November 26.
