VEF Riga lose close match to St. Petersburg Zenit

BC, Riga, 23.10.2017.

Latvian basketball club VEF Riga lost to St. Petersburg Zenit in a VTB United League match on Sunday, informs LETA.

Rolands Freimanis led the way for VEF with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Alex Perez scored 18 points. Demonte Harper, Sergey Karasev and Ilya Gromov each scored 16 points for Zenit.

At the moment, VEF Riga is in last place in VTB United League standings with three losses in three games.

As reported, last season VEF Riga finished in seventh place in VTB League.
