New Riga Theater's production Brodsky/Baryshnikov will be visiting Boston and Chicago January 17 to February 4 next year, as the theater's representative Agnija Grinfelde told LETA.

Brodsky/Baryshnikov will be staged at Cutler Majestic Theater in Boston January 17 to 21, and at Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Chicago February 2 through 4.

The show, directed by Alvis Hermanis, had its premiere in Riga two years ago. Brodsky/Baryshnikov is a one-man show based on the poems of Nobel laureate Joseph Brodsky, recited by Mikhail Baryshnikov.

The performance was included in the Boris and Inara Teterev Foundation's art program Tete-a-Tete 2015, it also won newspaper Diena's Culture Award that same year.
