Latvian basketball team greeted by 100 fans as they arrive back to Riga

BC, Riga, 14.09.2017.

The Latvian basketball team arrived back to Riga yesterday from the European Men's Basketball Championships (EuroBasket) in Turkey, with approximately 100 persons coming out to welcome them back at Riga Airport.

LETA observed that approximately 30 media members were also on hand.

As reported, in the quarterfinals of EuroBasket Tuesday tonight, the Latvian national men's basketball team lost to Slovenia 103:97.
