Latvia drops out of EuroBasket

BC, Riga, 13.09.2017.

In the quarterfinals of the European Men's Basketball Championships (EuroBasket) tonight, the Latvian national men's basketball team lost to Slovenia 103:97, informs LETA.

It was a see-saw match all the way, with major lead changes, but Slovenia came out on top in a nervous end.

Kristaps Porzingis led the way for Latvia with 34 points, followed by Dairis Bertans with 23 points.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic led the way for Slovenia with 27 points.

Slovenia will now take on Spain in the semifinal match on Thursday night.
