Women set new skydiving Estonian record
Female Estonian
skydivers set a new Estonian record by building a formation of 14 jumpers near
Parnu on July 18th, reports LETA/BNS.
The new record was set on the third attempt as part of the international
air sports camp Parasummer and it was taken on video by the coach of the
Estonian female skydivers, Pete Allum. It took the women 50 seconds to build
the formation, spokespeople for Skydive Estonia said.
Thierry Courtin, judge with the FAI world governing body for air sports, confirmed the
record the same evening.
The previous Estonian women's skydiving record was a formation built by 10
jumpers in 2012.
Approximately 200 skydiving enthusiasts from 19 countries are taking part
in the 18th Parasummer camp held in Parnu from July 14-23.
