Sevastova drops out of Qatar Ladies Open

Print versionLatvia's Anastasija Sevastova was defeated by Samantha Stosur (Australia) 5-7, 4-6 in the first round of the Qatar Ladies Open on Monday, reports LETA.
Alona Ostapenko, who last year reached the final of the Qatar Ladies Open year, is not participating in the tournament this year. In 2016, Sevastova also dropped out of the tournament after the first round.
Sevastova has earned one WTA ranking point for playing at the Doha tournament this year.
