Latvian polar explorers go on expedition to Greenland

Latvian polar explorers will leave on a scientific expedition to Russell Glacier in Greenland to study the glacier and the effect of climate change on the glacier.

Latvian polar explorers' first scientific expedition to Greenland will continue until August 5, as the University of Latvia told LETA.

The expedition includes University of Latvia Geography and Earth Sciences researchers Janis Karuss, Maris Krievans, Kristaps Lamsters, Agnis Recs, and student Reinis Pavils.
