Latvia's worst advertisements awards ceremony took place yesterday

Print versionYesterday, the awards ceremony "Golden Toilet '08" took place in Riga's Railway Museum, during which the worst advertisements in Latvia was chosen and "honored", the event's spokesperson Sanita Ribena informed LETA.
The event was organized by the public organization "Movement Against Bad Advertising" – creators of the website "Badad.lv". "Badad.lv" has been operating for one year now, gathering the worst ads produced in Latvia.
The awards were bestowed in several categories – "Identity", "Press", "Environment", "Internet" and "Television".
"Badad.lv" is an impartial Website, which does not represent any specific advertising agency and operates with the purpose of improving the quality of advertising in Latvia.
