TTT Riga wins third straight Latvian Women's Basketball League title

Last night, basketball club TTT Riga defeated Vega1/Liepaja 82:52 in the third game of the Latvian Women's Basketball League finals, thus winning the national title for the third year in a row, informs LETA.
TTT Riga defeated Vega1/Liepaja 3-0 in the best-of-five series.
This was also the 15th national title for TTT Riga since the restoration of independence.
The club also won this year's Latvian/Estonian Women's Basketball League.
The highest scorer for TTT Riga was Zenta Melnika with 17 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Anda Eibele with 15 points. Meanwhile, Dita Rozenberga led the way for Vega1/Liepaja with 24 points and eight rebounds.
Melnika was also named the MVP of the finals series.
