Nineteen-year-old dolphin Gabija gave birth to a dolphin baby in the Lithuanian Sea Museum in Klaipeda, writes ELTA.

The dolphin"s father is an almost 30-year-old dolphin Argas. Both parents came to Klaipeda from Sevastopol in 1993.

According to the representative of the museum, the baby"s sex is not known yet. Its mother is taking care of it with vigilance.

The dolphin is fed with his mothers milk, which is very sustaining – it has ten times more fat than cow milk, is a bit red in color and as the staff of the dolphinarium claims – it tastes of fish. When the dolphin baby is two, it will start tasting fish.

Gabija is a "mother of many children": her daughters Premija, Gile and Bite live in the dolphinarium too.

Now there are nine dolphins in the Sea Museum. Five of them were born there.
