Weightlifter Koha 10th at WC with new national record for Latvia

Latvian weightlifter Rebeka Koha on Sunday placed tenth at the International Weightlifting Federation's World Championship in the United States with a new national record of Latvia, informs LETA.
In the 53-kilogram category, the seventeen-year-old Koha lifted 87 kilograms in snatch and 105 kilograms in clean and jerk. With a total of 192 kilograms, Koha placed tenth at the World Championship, and also set a new national record for Latvia.
Hsu Shu-Ching, of Taipei, won gold with 221 kilograms, while China's Chen Xiaoting took silver.
