Alona Ostapenko's "Grand Slam" debut a smash success

The rising Latvian tennis star Alona Ostapenko, making her "Grand Slam" debut at Wimbledon yesterday, walked away with an easy 6-2, 6-0 victory over the 9th seed – Carla Suarez Navarro (Spain), informs LETA.
Ostapenko took care of business in less than 50 minutes. She earned 70 points WTA, and in the next round will take on Christina Mladenovich (France), who also won yesterday.
Right now, Ostapenko is ranked 147th WTA.
