RockUp Festival is like a time machine, which will make you remember how USA from blues created Rockabilly. How was it when joyful young people filled dance floors with dynamic rock `n` roll sound. Time when young men dangle around joyful young women with lips painted bright red, elegant hairstyles and flirtatiously bare shoulders, reports RockUp Production.

RockUp Festival will take place 7 – 8 August 2015 at recreation complex "Turbas" Ikskiles region in Latvia.

Pin up culture is very inspiring and the really good music will give people true joy, retro car show, dance performances, tattoo studio, and other creative entertainment will be available for both adults and children.

In addition, in the same time throughout the region will be celebrated Ikšķiles 830 year anniversary!

This year’s special guest is popular R`n`R band KEKSI & Orchestra. One of Baltic’s most known band that performs in rock`n `roll, rockabilly, boogie and rythm`n` blues kind of music. The band has performed with such well known artists as Boney-M, Macy Grey, Smokie, Ottawan. In 2014 July 13 band released its first album throughout the groups history and more recently, for the eight year in a row, played their musical tour Skudrupuznis.

For the more sharper taste will take care hard rock band COLT that gained its popularity in 2011 with the album “Dreams flying in the sky,” which was even nominated for the annual Music Awards to the best rock album.

With “Texas” style guitar phrases, powerful drum rhythms with boogie – woogie and lots of rock `n` roll will delight Riga blues band The Blues Gang.

Among the festivals artists will also be Rusa, The Big Bluff, Cement, Coolman Report, Lavrix Band, Ainars Pupols & PI Blues, Voiceks Voiska, B-Sea Surfers, Griff Band, Mozambique, The Foxtail, Vocada and Bengy.

The two- day festival tickets fees will be EUR 25.

Festival offers free camp site, but for those who prefer more comfort, there will be hotel rooms, camping cabins and guest houses in the special VIP sets.
