Already for the second year in a row, Belgian Days will be held in Riga from November 4 to November 14, bringing to Riga a small part of what the Belgians themselves consider to be the most important in Belgian culture and science at the moment, as the Belgian Embassy in Riga informed LETA.

The program will feature Belgian choreographer Alain Platel's dance performance "tauberbach", which was recognized by German magazine "Tanz" as this year's best contemporary dance performance.

Club "Hamlets" will present a free-jazz band "Manuel Hermia Trio" that will perform during the "Sakss&Chimay" jazz night dedicated to Adolphe Sax's 200th birthday. Visitors will be able to enjoy Belgium's "Chimay" beer.

The Latvian National Library will host an exhibition titled "Post War" featuring an original collection of postcards telling the history of Belgium during World War II.
