Latvian paralympian Dmitrijs Silovs won gold in javelin throw at the Athletics European Championships in Wales on Thursday, informs LETA.
Competing in the F37/38 group, Silovs threw the javelin 47.32 meters to win the gold medal.
As reported, Aigars Apinis won gold in discus throw at the Athletics European Championships earlier yesterday. Apinis, competing in the F52 group, threw the discus 19.68 meters to win the gold medal.
The Latvian delegation at the Athletics European Championships in Swansea includes eight athletes in total. The event will continue through Saturday.
