Riga Dinamo signs Canadian defenseman Chay Genoway

Latvian ice hockey club Riga ''Dinamo'' has signed Canadian defenseman Chay Genoway,informs LETA reffering to the club.
Last season, the 27-year-old Genoway played for American Hockey League (AHL) team Hershey ''Bears'', scoring four goals and making 10 assists in 52 games.
He has only played in one NHL game for the NHL's Minnesota ''Wild'', before returning to the AHL.
Riga ''Dinamo'' will play its first pre-season exhibition match this evening in Liepaja (southwestern Latvia) against Russian ice hockey club ''Toros''
