Other events in Baltic States

Several translated collections of the Lithuanian poetry are being published in the United Kingdom this year, writes ELTA.

In spring, the supplement "Contemporary Lithuanian Poets" was published together with the magazine Poetry Review, which is being released by the London Poetry Union. This autumn, famous British publishing house Bloodaxe plans to publish Tomas Venclovas" collection of poetry "The Junction". Moreover, in August, the new Lithuanian poetry anthology "Six Lithuanian Poets" (ed. Eugenijus Alisanka) published by Arc Publications will be presented in Manchester, Edinburgh and London.

The poems written by Eugenijus Alisanka, Daiva Cepauskaite, Gintaras Grajauskas, Aidas Marcenas, Kestutis Navakas and Sigitas Parulskis will be published in the new anthology.
