He also said that timber processing companies have significantly diversified their markets, and have long term cooperation with their partners abroad, therefore exports in general are quite stable.
Klauss said that in Latvia there are few timber processing companies that work only in the local market.
The Latvian Forest Industry Federation was founded in 2000.
