Estonian government rejects plans to restrict energy drinks advertising
23.05.2013The Estonian government rejected on Thursday the bill initiated by the opposition's Centre Party that wished to restrict advertising of energy drinks similar to advertising of alcohol, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

Riga fined for violating restrictions on election campaigns
13.05.2013Riga Central District Court has imposed an LVL 100 fine on the Riga City Council for violations of the election campaigning regulations ascertained at the local government. The Riga City Council has ten days to appeal the ruling, as Janis Jaksons, aide to the court's chairwoman, told LETA.

Baltic advertising market grew by 3% in 2012
Compared to 2011, the Baltic advertising market grew by 3% to EUR 242.7 million (LVL 170.5 million) in 2012, according to data from the market, social and media research company TNS Latvia, Latvian Advertising Association and TNS companies in Estonia and Lithuania, writes LETA/Nozare.lv.
