Estonian education technology company Clanbeat has announced the closure of 1.2 million US dollars (EUR 1.08 mln) in funding from Mistletoe Inc and angel investors Martin Henk and Ragnar Sass, co-founders of Pipedrive, informed LETA/BNS.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of The Treasury on Monday imposed sanctions on a number of people and legal entities in Europe, Asia and Latin America, including on Latvia's Ventspils mayor Aivars Lembergs, based on the so-called Magnitsky bill, informed LETA/BNS.

The latest data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that in November 2019, compared to November 2018, the average level of consumer prices* rose by 2.1%. Prices of goods increased by 1.8% and prices of services by 2.9%.

Rebuilding of Renge track in Lithuania nears completion

The rebuilding of a 19-km railway section between Lithuania's Mazeikiai and Renge, in Latvia, that was dismantled a decade ago, is nearing completion, says the CEO of its major contractor Vitras-S, a railway construction and repairs company owned by Estonia's railway services group Skinest Rail, referred LETA/BNS.
